Susan Mitsui
Founder
Susan Mitsui is a 5-Time Canadian Dance Champion, World Mambo Finalist, Arthur Murray International Latin Champion, and IAAPA Award-winning creative contributor. A former professional performer and film cast member (Shall We Dance?, Miramax 2004), she spent over a decade on the competitive circuit before co-owning and operating five Arthur Murray studios across Japan.
Her work has spanned Japan, Canada, the United States, Taiwan, and Australia, as Master Examiner, international event organizer, executive operator, coach, and International School Council Member, at the intersection of elite physical discipline, health and wellness, and serious business leadership.
She is also a founder of Fitness Reimagined, a holistic movement and wellness collaboration. Through Adder Industries, Susan channels decades of embodied discipline into leadership, wellness, content, and digital frameworks, grounded in one core belief: presence is a practice, not a personality trait.
Michael Mitsui
Co-Founder
Michael Mitsui is a Canadian-born dance professional, championship competitor, international coach, entrepreneur, and author with nearly four decades of experience in the dance industry. An eight-time Canadian Rhythm Champion, he joined Arthur Murray in 1987 and later served as Chairman of Arthur Murray Area 10, supporting studios across Asia and Australia.
As an entrepreneur, he co-owned and operated five Arthur Murray studios in Japan and continues his work through Arthur Murray Kobe alongside his wife and partner, Susan. He is also the author of the memoir Against the Current and the founder of Soul Purpose Studio, where he creates nature-inspired artwork centered on resilience and purpose.
Through Adder Industries, Michael brings decades of competitive discipline, leadership, and creative practice to the company’s mission of presence, growth, and mastery.
